About Me

I first took interest in modelling in April 2010 after seeing J.J. Abrams's "Star Trek" reboot--I really wanted to make my own starship Enterprise. You can see my very first 3D model below; I always look at it to remind myself how far I've come and how far I've yet to go.

I am largely self-taught, having spent many hours on sites like YouTube and CG Cookie. I briefly attended San Francisco's Academy of Art University, majoring in Game Design, but withdrew for financial reasons.

I very much enjoy the artistic creation process--the seemingly magical steps involved in taking a rough "wouldn't that be cool" idea and turning it into something beautiful (or "ugly", as the case may be). Although I'm chiefly a 3D modellor, I'm always looking to expand my horizons. I wear many hats, but I'm always looking for more!

With all said but not yet done, here's one of the phrases I live by:

"Without hope, without fear, every man is the artisan of his own fortune."
